Material- 7-10 gage mild steel, mostly recycled materials.

Finish- The sculptures are left with the raw steel unless you request otherwise. This raw and patina finish will develop into a rich red over time. You may choose to put a clear coat on it or paint them with a metal paint if you like.  These sculptures are hand and individually cut from very stout stock. They will last hundreds of years with out a finish. The process of rusting I find poetic and fitting to the situation.

Jenny B Rogers. She was diagnosed with breast cancer April 24th of this year when she was also 6 months pregnant with her first child. She has undergone 16 rounds of chemo just to shrink the tumor, when diagnosed her tumor was the size of a lime and had doubled in size within three days. She has the rarest form of breast cancer that only holds a 40% survival rate over 5 years. Jenny has been unble to work, taking care of her new baby and enduring difficult weekly chemo treatments, she has also had dangerous infections that have left her with extremely low white blood counts.   Jenny struggles everyday to keep going for her and her little girl, now let's all take a moment of our time to do something for her. You don't have to know Jenny personally to care about her and what she's going through.

Why Angels?  When faced with a challenge I feel like i must do something. This is the way I work. When faced with such a heart aching challenge as supporting someone I love go through breast cancer I dug deep to find celestrial inspiration. My grandmother inspired me to do something with wings. She was an angel in my life and in her spirit and for the love of life and art I carve out each angel.  In my view this is the purpose of my art.

This series of sculptures comes to you directly from the heart. Each one is signed and unique and will be available for a limited time.

I will create a custimized sculpture about 12-14 inches which will be something with wings-anything: angels, dragons, pigs, birds, wrenches, cars. For you or someone you love. Tell me something about you or the person you are ordering for, like your favorite animal or something you have recently gone through and i will incorporate that into the winged art. 

I will donate all my time and material and you pay just $50 and shipping if needed.

 I hope to entice more people to give an awesome gift that you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside about. Wal-Mart can't give u that!!!! I am hoping my art can make a difference. That is what my art is about. I give what i have and right now that is my art and my heart. (oh zo cheesy:)
